Free Checking with Direct Deposit or E-Statements

Our most popular account! This checking account is free of monthly service charges when you sign up for Direct Deposit of your paycheck to your GFCU checking account – OR – if you sign up for E-Statements!

Thrifty Checking

Available to members who don't need to write a lot of checks. Pay only a $2.50 monthly service charge for 20 checks (or withdrawals) with an additional service charge of 30¢ per check over 20.

High School and College Checking

Whether you‘re a High School or College Student, we have a checking program designed to fit your financial needs. By signing up for a Teen or College Checking account, the following options will be available to you:

• First order of 50 checks FREE
• Discount loan rate coupon .10% off first car loan
• Free Bill Pay
• Free College/Teen Checking with e-statements or direct deposit

Premier Checking

Pays the highest return of all GFCU checking accounts. Dividends are paid monthly when you maintain an average daily balance of $1,000. There is no monthly service charge with a minimum account balance of $1,000 for the entire month. If the balance falls below $1,000, a nominal fee of $6.00 per month is assessed. And, with Premier Checking there are no per-check charges.

Checking Companions - ATM Cards, VISA Debit Cards, Overdraft Protection

GFCU checking accounts offer the added convenience of ATM cards or VISA check cards which allow you to access your funds from ATMs and point-of-sale terminals across the country. We also offer overdraft protection options through automatic transfer from your savings or a line of credit - just let us know your preferences when you open your account!
